AI is complaining already about coming off of the bench.

AI is complaining already about coming off of the bench.

One day after I defended AI for telling the truth about his situation in Detroit, he lets me down again.  Yesterday, I predicted AI would have a good game.  In all honesty, he had an OK game (11 points in 17 minutes).  But, I didn’t predict that he would be complaining already.  In his first game back, AI did not hold anything back.

“I had a problem with my butt from sitting on the bench so long, that’s the only thing I had a problem with.”

Really.  The other thing you have a problem with is keeping your damn mouth shut!  ALLEN, YOU JUST CAME BACK FROM INJURY!!!!  ALLEN, YOU DIDN’T PLAY ALL PRE-SEASON!!!!  ALLEN, YOU ARE NOT THE BEST GUARD ON YOUR TEAM!!!!  COME BACK TO REALITY MAN!!!!  WHAT DID YOU REALLY EXPECT????

Next, he goes into this rant about is resume, which is not that impressive since he does not have a ring and he never will win a ring.  No team with a chance to win a Chip even called him.  They didn’t want to poison their team and jeopardize their chances of winning a Chip.

“I’m not a reserve basketball player. I’ve never been a reserve all my life and I’m not going to start looking at myself as a reserve. That’s something for the media to talk about. It’s only a big issue when the media talks about it. The subject never came up in my career until everything happened in Detroit. No one talked about me being a sub or anything like that until last year.  In all the other years of my career, it’s never come up. I’ve been a starter on All-Star teams, Olympic teams and NBA Finals teams. It’s just a big deal now. I think it is something people should let go. To answer your question, no, I’m not a bench player or the sixth man. Go look at my resume, it will show you that I’m not a sixth man.”

WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE????  YOUR SKILLS HAVE DIMINISHED!!!!  YOU’LL BE LUCKY TO BE AN ALL-STAR THIS YEAR!!!!  YOU ARE FINISHED!!!!  GIVE US A BREAK!!!!  JUST SHUT UP AND COME OFF OF THE BENCH!!!!

“It’s not about me being selfish or anything like that.  It’s just the fact that this is who I am. I don’t want to change what gave me all the success when I came into this league.”

SOUNDS SELFISH TO ME!!!!  EACH SENTENCE YOU SAID IN THIS STATEMENT HAD “I” OR “ME” IN IT!!!!

Good luck AI, I just hope you don’t continue to tarnish whatever is left of your “legacy”.
