Kobe Bryant graced the cover of NBA 2K10.
2K Sports didn’t give the cover of 2K10 to Kobe Bryant for nothing. Kobe Bryant is leading the league in scoring with 33.2 points a game after last night’s 41 point performance, and he is a lock for online betting. Last night’s game against the Houston Rockets was Kobe’s second 41 point game of the season (He put up 41 on November 1, 2009 in a victory over the Atlanta Hawks). Kobe has a plethora of ways that he can score. He takes his defender to the rim, he posts up his defender, he flat out shoots over his defender, and he gets to the free throw line (He’s shooting 82% percent from the line). When playing against the Lakers, whoever is tasked with defending Bryant is in for a long night. Kobe can dominate games offensively. Can Kobe Bryant be stopped?
When speaking about the greatness of Kobe Bryant, most people view him as only a scorer. He has great strength, speed, and athleticism. But Kobe Bryant is a complete basketball player. Not only does he score, he has been getting his teammates involved. He’s only averaging 3.2 assists for the season, but he is more willing to give up the rock when necessary. He probably would have more assists if Pau Gasol was not injured (Gasol has not played in a game this season). Pau Gasol can finish around the basket at a high percentage, so Bryant has a lot of trust in him. Bryant can also trust Andrew Bynum, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher and Ron Artest. So, you cannot double him or help off of your man because Kobe will pass the rock and rack up assists. Can a player like Kobe be stopped?

Kobe Bryant is a lock down defender.
With the acquisition of Ron Artest, Kobe no longer has to defend the other team’s best wing player, but he is still more than a capable defender. He is no stranger to the All Defensive First Team with seven appearances. Kobe uses his athletic prowess on defense. The same gifts that enable him to score at will, also enable him to be a lock down defender. This season, Kobe is grabbing 6.8 rebounds a game and you can also attribute a league leading 3.2 thefts a game to him as well. He demonstrates the ability to dominate games defensively. When Kobe is guarding you, there are rarely any easy shots.

Kobe is fearless when attacking the basket.
So, the question remains. Can Kobe Bryant be stopped? The answer, no he cannot.

Kobe Bryant is the man!

He's A Beast: Carmelo Anthony After only three games, Carmelo is my stand out for MVP. As Jay-Z says, "Men lie, Women lie, Numbers don't". Melo is a beast; he is currently leading the league in scoring with 37.7 points per game. He is shooting 53.6% from the field and 42.9% from three. Both......
